How much does using the ICR Service cost?

How will I know when my filings have been submitted.
You will be notified via email when your filings have been submitted to their respective states.
How do I know if I need to file for a contractor that I've used?
Since every State has different thresholds and requirements for reporting Independent contractors, please check with the state that you are filing for their requirements.

For California:
Any filer, business or government that is required to file a federal Form 1099-MISC for services performed by an independent contractor must report. Any filer, business or government means any individual, person, corporation, association, or partnership, or agent thereof, doing business in the state of California, deriving trade or business income from sources within this State, or in any manner in the course of trade or business subject to the laws of California.

An independent contractor is defined as an individual who is not an employee of the business or government entity for California purposes and who receives compensation or executes a contract for services performed for that business or government entity either in or outside of California.
After submitting my filings with ICR, how long does it take before the state receives the information?
This normally takes from 5 to 10 business days. You will also receive email notification when your information is submitted to the state(s).
Is information that I submit shared with anyone?
The simple answer is no...never. Any information you enter or upload on our site is held in the highest of confidence and will under no circumstances be shared with or transmitted to anyone other than the respective states for which the filings were intended.
